Hello everyone and welcome back to the Hayden legacy! I know it's been a few months since I posted a chapter, but as I mentioned in my Montgomery legacy update a few days ago I've had a lot of things going on in my personal life and I started school again, so things have been extremely crazy for me lately. Anyway, recently I've had some time to play, mainly because I needed to lower my anxiety levels, and so as a result I have a new chapter for you! As you may or may not remember, at the end of the last chapter, our current heiress, Chelsea, gave birth to the last of her children - twin boys named Evan and Nathan. Evan, the one Chelsea is holding in this picture, was also randomly generated to be our generation seven heir. To celebrate having time to play, I purchased the toddler stuff pack. I really like this doll house, though it's quite large. But, I do love it and I wouldn't mind owning one for my future children. Since I didn't buy the pack when it first came out, I lucked out and never had to deal with the unfortunate ball pit texture. So, I'm happy about that because watching the toddlers play in the ball pit is a lot of fun. I do wish their older siblings could play with them as well. But, Garrett seems to enjoy it even without Savannah playing too. Chelsea is in the doctor career, and was asked to make a house call to her brother. The house calls are pretty fun, but sometimes the sims won't stop doing things in their house (i.e. playing video games) long enough for Chelsea to scan their body. When I loaded the game, there was only a day or two left before Garrett's birthday, and so that time really flew by. Garrett aged into some unfortunate clothing, but he's still a total cutie. Before we can see Garrett post make-over, it's also time for our twins to become toddlers. They both aged into handsome little boys, and I'm very pleased with the variety this generation. In hindsight, I really should have changed Garrett's eyebrows because he looks angry. But other than that, he's handsome and has a good combination of aspiration and trait. Our little heir is super adorable, and I'm very pleased with him. He also got a decent toddler trait, so that will be nice since I have to raise two toddlers at once. Nathan, the baby of the family, is also adorable and does look a lot like his brother and siblings, but I see variety. Thankfully, he also got a good toddler trait. It's an absolutely terrible picture, I know, but it was the best I could do with three sims. Here we have their full outfits! I love this interaction so much, so of course I had to take a picture of it when it happened. Savannah: To my many followers: I just finished my creative aspiration. It was a piece of cake. Now, on to bigger and better things - rambunctious scamp! Chelsea tucked Nathan into his bed, he slept for a minute, then proceeded to get up, walk into the hall, and pass out on the floor. Oh boy... Yes, because I always help my children with their homework right outside of the family mausoleum - sounds like a good choice, right? I mean, who would want to do their homework in the perfectly good focus room with the comfy chairs and table for homework.... Nathan is "using diaper" in this picture. He looks so serious about it, so I had to snap the picture. We haven't see Phoenix much this chapter, but alas it's his birthday! He looks the same, but does not seem thrilled about the lack of exposure so far this chapter. Now we have twin toddlers playing on their wabbit tablets outside the mausoleum. But, hey, at least they're occupied. However, look at that face Nathan is giving Chelsea. It's time for the eldest child of this generation to become a teenager. She aged into a beautiful teenager, with very chubby cheeks. Post make-over, Savannah looks really pretty. I tried to give her a sort of edgy look. I didn't exactly succeed because I changed my mind at the last minute about her hair and chose this one instead. But, I like the boots with the outfit. On her first day as a medical professional, Chelsea was able to complete her promotion task of delivering a baby. I've read on the forums this can take a while for the pregnant sim to show up, but I lucked out and mine showed up on her first day. That evening it's time for another birthday - the twins are going to be children! There aren't a lot of toddler pictures for them because I was mostly letting the tablets parent them, so there wasn't much exciting going on. Evan looks thrilled to be a child, but Nathan not so much. Evan is really adorable, and I'm excited that he's our heir. I think he's going to do a good job at continuing this legacy for sure. Nathan also aged nicely and he has a good combination of aspiration and trait. Here is a better look at their full outfits. I dressed Evan as a perfectionist of sorts and tried to give Nathan a creative/artistic look. At work the next day, Chelsea delivered another baby, and I was able to catch this amazing picture. The new Mom looks thrilled about her baby boy! Garrett has completed his Whiz Kid aspiration, up next I decided to give him Artistic Prodigy. Since Chelsea was so much younger than Phoenix, I decided to go ahead and have her celebrate her birthday a few days early. She put on some weight and gained some creases in her face, but overall she's still gorgeous. Blonde Man: Wow, thanks for removing that plunger for me. I have no idea how it got there. Chelsea: Yeah, no problem. It's kind of my job. Just remember, plungers are only for toilets, not bodies. Nathan has completed his Artistic Prodigy aspiration. I decided to give him Social Butterfly, even though I hate it, just because the other three were getting on my nerves. To clarify, I only hate it because of the whole have two adult friends and three child friends because they never get credit for what they already have and I always have to cheat the completion. I had the kids skilling while Chelsea was at work one evening, and during that time Evan completed his Rambunctious Scamp aspiration. I gave him Whiz Kid next. Garrett finished his Artistic Prodigy aspiration, but his birthday is tomorrow so I'm not sure if he'll be able to complete his next aspiration, which is Rambunctious Scamp. Unfortunately, he was not able to finish his aspiration. He was close, but not close enough to justify postponing his birthday. He aged into a really handsome teenager. I'm very pleased with the way he turned out. I can see a lot of Phoenix in him. I think the main reason I notice it is because of the nose. If you remember, Phoenix is a legacy love created by my husband and my husband tends to have a very distinct style for noses. After a make-over, Garrett looks even more handsome. He adds painter extraordinaire and gloomy to genius. Which, is actually not bad. Gloomy apparently makes painting easier or something, I forget what exactly it does. Some how, the shirt Garrett was wearing as a child was still available as a teenager so I figured, why not? I like him in it and it seems to fit the genius aspect of his personality so I figured I'd keep it on him. While Evan is in his "I'm a Bear!" phase, which seems to be one of the most common phases, Chelsea tries to kill two birds with one stone by reading to him to help with his aspiration, and wearing a bear costume with him. Ironically, this is the first time the parent has put on the exact same bear costume as the child, which I thought was pretty cool. Our generation 6 and generation 7 heir, ladies and gentlemen. Nathan completed his aspiration of Social Butterfly using the puppet theater - one of my favorite things in the game. I gave him Rambunctious Scamp as his next aspiration. Not wanting to be shown up by his younger twin, our heir finished his Whiz Kid aspiration and chose Artistic Prodigy for his next aspiration. Because of the fact I've been working so hard on Chelsea's career, it's already time for Savannah to become a young adult! She aged into a stunning young woman, and I'm very pleased with her. She adds childish to her list of traits, making a fairly interesting combination of traits. None of them are bad, it's just a very odd combination. Savannah: Bye Mom! I love you, and I'll keep in touch! Chelsea: Promise? You're my first born and my only girl, I'm going to miss you the most. But don't tell your brothers. I'm convinced that this little girl is immortal. She is at the hospital every single time Chelsea works and she's still not a teenager yet. I think her parents must abuse/neglect her though if she's at the hospital this much. Chelsea finally got her final promotion to Chief of Staff! So, now I'll probably have her retire (when she becomes an elder) or just go to work without me tagging along. Right as it's time to blow out his birthday candles, Nathan finishes Rambunctious Scamp. While Nathan was finishing his aspiration, Evan was blowing out his candles. Then, Nathan came in and blew his out too because the cake survived! We now have two more teenagers, with a very weird taste in style. But, that will be fixed soon. I'm very pleased with how our heir turned out. I definitely think he's going to make adorable children, and I'm excited to see how his life pans out. He gets music lover as his next trait and Public Enemy for his aspiration. Nathan looks a lot like a blue version of his twin brother, but still a little different too. He adds snob to his list of traits, and so I gave him a scarf because I felt that it made him look snobby. Here's a better look at their outfits! Nothing super special because it was getting late and I wanted to be able to post this chapter before bed. Here we have our side-by-side comparison of the kids. I think they all turned out really lovely, and there's a lot of genetic diversity. Probably one of my best looking generations yet. The first thing our heir does after his make-over is run and play on the slip and slide. Sounds like a blast. I thought it was fairly fitting that the first time we see Rachel is when we get another sim in the family with Good Vampire. Rachel: I'm warning him about you. You could have left me immortal and taken care of me or cured me of vampirism and let me die of old age. But no. You're a completionist and wanted the special vampire urn, so you made me die in the sun. I mean, you're not wrong. But, Nathan isn't an heir so his urn doesn't matter to me.
