Hello everyone and welcome back to the Hayden Legacy!
Sorry that it has been a little while since I posted my last chapter. I've been busy since it’s at the end of the spring semester for school. But, I've had some time to play the last couple of weeks since I only had two finals! When we left off last chapter, the last baby of generation five had become a toddler – making her the first toddler ever in this family – and she was happily dancing away to the radio! Well, as we pick back up, we see that she’s now crying. Her reason for crying? Too much dancing.
Part of the reason I started playing again during the weeks leading up to finals was because of the Plant Sim challenge. While, it was disappointing to not have the Easter egg hunt again because I really liked doing that last year, it was cool to have something new. Though, I wish they would find a way to implement Plant Sims into the game long term.
After talking to Jasmine, Myra is given a stump with six circles in it that are meant for the magic beans and once all six magic beans are placed and watered, a special tree will grow.
Jasmine told her to go ask Plant Sims of different moods if they would give her a magic bean. So, Myra gets on that right away and heads to a community lot where she immediately meets her first Plant Sim.
After her first day on the community lots, Myra comes up with four of the six magic beans. That’s not bad at all for one day.
Meanwhile, little Cheyenne has completed her Whiz Kid aspiration. I gave her Rambunctious Scamp as her next aspiration, because she already had a decent amount of motor skill.
The next day, Myra gets the last two magic beans that she needs for her tree and she waters them!
A beautiful tree grew where the stump and magic beans once were, and Myra quickly checks the tree out. If you notice, you can still see the magic beans even when it’s full grown which I thought was really cool.
Myra got the special fruit on her first time exploring the tree. Since her aspiration is related to plants, that’s one of the main reasons I’m doing this with her and not her husband who is the heir from generation four.
“So, I’m just supposed to eat this strange ‘fruit’ that looks like an acorn dipped in blue frosting?” Yes, pretty much. “And then I am going to turn green and become a plant?” Well, not a plant exactly, but yes.
Despite being skeptical, Myra eats the fruit and after levitating in the air, spinning in a circle, and landing again she is a full-fledged plant sim. For five days, at least.
While working on her typing skills, Cheyenne completes her third childhood aspiration and moves onto the fourth, and final one, of Artistic Prodigy.
When Myra’s hair went gray out of nowhere, I got really freaked out until I realized that it only went gray because her water bar was almost empty.
It’s time for Aaron to become an adult, nothing exciting about this really. YA-Adult is just kind of the same thing in my opinion. But oh well, at least he aged nicely.
Something more exciting is that
She looks a lot different as a teenager than she did as a child I think, but this look really isn’t working for me right now.
I had prerolled for everyone in this generation before I bought vampires, but I decided to reroll for this generation and Cheyenne ended up getting a vampire based aspiration! I’m kind of excited to have an excuse to play around with vampires!
She’s really pretty too, she aged wonderfully.
Her outfit is much better, too. Though, she may not think so.
Clearly, Cheyenne got her face making skills from her mother, who I found making this same face when the game was paused for me to take Cheyenne’s picture.
After doing her first batch of homework, I sent Cheyenne to meet a vampire and build up a relationship with them so that she could request to be turned.
The vampire she spoke with agreed, and began the process of turning her.
Which consisted of him
Followed by her drinking his.
After this process, Cheyenne got a bad stomach ache and decided to go home.
The stomach ache persisted, and she thought maybe she was just hungry so she tried eating some of her birthday cake, but that just made it worse.
Myra has completed her Freelance Botanist aspiration and I gave her The Curator as her next aspiration.
Don’t worry, Chloe is still alive, and throwing food. You know, the typical toddler things.
I really like how this picture turned out though.
It’s hard to see, but if you look closely you can see the bite marks in Cheyenne’s neck.
Oh look, it’s Lucas, setting the grill on fire. Fun times.
Even though she looks depressed and not even a little happy, our heiress Rachel, who we’ve barely seen, has completed the Whiz Kid aspiration. I gave her Rambunctious Scamp as her next one.
It’s time for Chloe to
Like most of my kids for some reason, Chloe aged up into Outdoor Retreat clothing. But, she’s still cute!
After a makeover, she’s a lot cuter. I think she looks a lot like both of her sisters.
I tried to dress her a little like her Mom, and I really love these leggings.
It’s time for our heiress to become a teenager! They grow up so fast, don’t they?
She grew up with no glasses and into pants that make her look naked, but hey, at least she’s still pretty.
After a trip to the mirror, Rachel looks much more like her old self.
Rachel also has a vampire based aspiration, and I think it’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out. I really want the vampire urn, so I may have to try to find a way to force her to age up while staying a vampire.
Because of the shade of blue her skin is, it’s really hard to find clothes that don’t look terrible. I stuck with the red she had before, and I really liked this dress with the boots.
So, it had been a really long time and Cheyenne had not turned into a vampire. I noticed she didn’t have the moodlet anymore, but I assumed that was normal. But, I guess it wasn’t. Anyway, I read that if you kept them away from food it would work, so I did that and then she died while at the house of the vampire who attempted to turn her. Luckily, I was able to bring Rachel to the lot in time to save her.
I later figured out, while trying to turn Rachel, that if a sim gets eaten by the cow-plant, since that removes all of the moodlets that sim has, it prevents them from turning because they don’t have the buff, and then they can’t ask to be turned because the game is confused.
So, I had to load up the lot with the vampire on it and make him playable and while playing him click Cheyenne and choose turn into vampire.
After that was all through, I headed back to the main household and Aaron completed his Renaissance Sim aspiration. His next aspiration is Nerd Brain, because once Olivia (who for some reason I have no pictures of) dies, we’ll no longer have our instant repairs and instant upgrades.
Finally, while heading downstairs, Cheyenne begins the transformation into vampirism. This game really likes levitating sims, doesn’t it?
Oh wow, I do not like her auto generated Dark Form, going to go have to change that a bit.
There, much better!
Being new to vampirism, Cheyenne takes her plasma out into the sun to drink. I don’t think that’s very smart.
When the plasma packs weren’t enough, Cheyenne asked others for permission to drink. Rachel usually complied, but a lot of her other relatives, especially Olivia, always yelled at her and told her to keep her fangs away from them.
Chloe completed her Rambunctious Scamp aspiration, and her next aspiration is Artistic Prodigy.
Almost the whole family sat down autonomously for a meal together, how strange! The only people missing were Cheyenne and Olivia.
Speaking of Olivia, it’s unfortunately come time for our long-lived, six adult aspiration completer, generation three heiress to pass on.
It was really sad to see her go, but she lived a good life.
Due to some of the criteria for Cheyenne’s aspiration, I had her go ahead and start the process of turning Rachel into a vampire.
Shortly after, it was time for Cheyenne to become a young adult and move out of the house.
When she aged, the game changed her dark form features, which really bothers me.
(Note: it does it every time I enter the mirror for any sim ugh.)
I forgot to remove the one feature from by her mouth, but here we have young adult vampire Cheyenne!
Make that vampire tiger, because it looks like she’s roaring like people do when imitating a tiger, lol.
Now it’s time for her to move out, and live her eternal life in the general neighborhood population. Though, after thinking about it I may have to cure her at some point so she doesn’t end up married into the family. That, or I need to play her just long enough to get her married.
