What's this? A chapter of something from Haleigh/Meadowthayerr? No way!
Hello everyone! I am sorry that I have not been able to post anything since July. As you know, I accepted my first teaching position in July and so I have been very busy. Most of you also know, I am teaching 5th grade and that was not my first choice for grade level so it has been very challenging for me. But I am on Thanksgiving break for a week, so I thought I'd get some play time in with the new expansion. Though, a lot of these pictures have been taken at various times between July and now.
We pick up this chapter with the family on a camping trip, because if you remember Hailey's aspiration is Outdoor Enthusiast.
This camping trip leads to children being caught on fire - which is totally not a fun thing to happen on a camping trip. Don't worry, they made it out unscathed, and our heiress doesn't even seem phased by the fact that Heidi is on fire.
Hailey has completed her outdoor enthusiast aspiration! Next, I gave her Freelance Botanist.
Back home, it's time for Hailey to become an adult.
She has some face lines that are common with being middle-aged, but for the most part she still looks the same.
It's also time for Heidi to become a teenager.
Heidi immediately grows up, and looks a lot like her older sister Blakely. She is also very attached to her cell phone already.
After a makeover, Heidi looks much better. I think she's a lot prettier than her older sister, to be honest with you.
Plus, I really like her outfit.
It's time for Christmas! I love that they still get presents from under the tree even if they don't have the money to buy presents. It's almost cheating when I sell the presents that they get that I don't have a use for.
Eve has completed her Whiz Kid aspiration. Up next I gave her Artistic Prodigy.
It's time for another birthday in the Kennedy home - this time Blakely will be coming a young adult.
Blakely aged nice, even if she does have a weird combination of traits.
After hugging her little sister goodbye, Blakely moves out.
Two more birthday in the Kennedy home., But, when you have this many sims living in one house, frequent birthdays are bound to happen.
This time, it's the twins' birthday!
They both aged nicely, though Neal's eyebrows don't match his hair. We'll need to fix that.
Post make-over, Neal looks much better. He has a good aspiration but two terrible traits. I'm glad he's not eligible for heir.
Eve aged lovely as well, and I feel like she looks the most unique from her siblings. Her personality isn't ideal, but I think she'll be an okay fit to carry on the legacy.
Just a peek at their outfits.
Now for everyone's favorite part, a side-by-side comparison of their teenage pictures. They all aged nicely, and I see similarities in all of them, but the twins are definitely more unique than the two eldest children.
In case you haven't read my previous stories, I love the little baby cowplant, so it becomes mandatory for me to take a picture of it every time it exists.
The first Remembrance holiday (I'm keeping score) has come around and so everyone is mourning Anastasia, our founder.
Eve has completed her Freelance Botanist aspiration. Up next I gave her Nerd Brain because there are a lot of appliances in the home that need upgraded.
Fires seem to be a common theme in the Kennedy home.
It was around Halloween when I took a personal day from work, and I had some time to play. So, I tried a spooky party for Luke's aspiration. Which, I'm starting to think won't be completed before he dies.
It's time for Heidi to become an adult, oh how time flies when you're trying to get as much playing in a single day off of work, lol.
She really doesn't look any different than she did as a teenager.
She did get Loves the Outdoors added to her list of traits.
After hugging her Mom goodbye, Heidi moves out.
Hailey has completed the Nerd Brain aspiration. I decided to give her Fabulously Wealthy now since that's a fairly mindless aspiration.
Our first elder birthday of the generation has arrived and it's time for Luke to age up.
Luke actually looks rather good for an elder sim, and I don't see a huge difference from when he was an adult.
That same night it was time for the twins to become adults.
They both aged into lovely adults, don't you think?
Neal tops his already poor aspiration with loner. Not sure how well that will work with wanting to be a super parent, but okay. Good luck with that, Neal.
And our heiress tops her personality off with snob. Oh, what an interesting set of traits this generation.
Neal hugs his twin sister goodbye and then he moves out.
This is where I started playing this week since I am off for a full week for Thanksgiving break. I saw there was a positivity challenge, and I really wanted to try it out.
Plus, the release of the expansion lined up nicely with my break, so I was just really eager to play.
While working on her positivity challenge, Eve meets a celebrity and gets her autograph.
She also ends up meeting Gael Knight. A handsome young sim who she took an interest in quite quickly.
The two shared their first kiss within a few hours of meeting, even though she is unflirty.
She also ended up conceiving the first baby of generation four.
Gael seemed less than thrilled that his girlfriend was pregnant with his child.
However, when Eve asked him to move in with her and her family, Gael accepted.
After a make-over Gael looks much better. I'm actually really pleased with him for a legacy spouse.
Eve proposed to Gael right where they shared their very first kiss.
Then, they tied the knot right there as well.
Eve completed the Positivity Challenge aspiration, so I switched her back to her Master Mixologist aspiration.
Hailey's elder birthday snuck up on me, but luckily I remembered to make her a cake before she aged up without one.
She aged nicely, but I think it's time for a new outfit, this one just doesn't look very much like a grandma.
She traded her ripped jean shorts for some ripped jean capris, a more age appropriate pink shirt, and some pink glasses. Now she looks more like a Grandma-to-be.
Just in time too, because Eve went into labor with the first baby of generation four moments later.
It's a boy! My number generator gave me number 19, so after 19 clicks of the die the game named him Marvin.
Not much happened while Marvin was a baby, so soon it was time for him to become a toddler.
Marvin has the wild trait, which is bound to make him extra crazy. But, he's really cute.
One of Eve's chance cards caused her to befriend a celebrity, but she also got fired.
Eve: Here, will you take a selfie with me Judith?
Judith: Uh, there's no phone there?
Eve: Sure there is, it's just, uh, glitched.
That's where we'll leave this chapter. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope to have another chapter out very soon! In the meantime, check in with me over at BoolProp or on my Twitch Stream!
Hopefully during winter break I'll be able to get some more chapters out, but most likely my chapters will remain spaced out during the school year.
The Kennedy Legacy is the first legacy that I created after purchasing the seasons expansion pack. It is also the first legacy I have kept score in for TS4.
Started: June 27, 2018
Finished: April 27, 2020
The family tree for the main legacy line can be found by clicking here.
Upon the birth of a sim, I will be using a random number generator to generate a number between 1 and 100. I will then click the randomize name button that many times and select the name that it lands on. So, the name of all sims will be totally random.
Note: in the case of a duplicate name, I will click the dice an extra time and use the next unused name.
