Welcome back to the fourth chapter of The Kennedy Legacy! I'm really excited with how this family is turning out so far, I really love them!
Also, before we start I have some big news I wanted to share! On Wednesday, 7/18, I accepted my very first teaching position! I will be teaching 5th grade and I'm really excited! I originally wanted primary, so I'm very nervous about teaching intermediate but I'm also super excited. I think this is going to be an amazing opportunity, and I cannot wait to begin my career.
That being said, this is not something I would normal do, however, given the circumstances I wanted to mention it. The school I will be working at is comprised of very low income families. Which, as a teacher I know this means I can make a big difference in their lives. However, it also means that some students are not going to have all of the necessary supplies provided to them from home. I have created two Amazon Wish Lists with some items that I'd like for my classroom, you can find them both in the navigation bar at the top if you're interested in helping out in any way.
Anyway, let us get back on track, shall we?
Hailey is pregnant with her second baby, and while you can't see the confetti in this picture, I really like how it turned out.
I think I've mentioned this before, but I love the frosted look the windows get when it snows. It's an amazing effect.
As usual, Luke was not thrilled about the prospect of having another baby in the house.
Oh seasons, I just love how buggy you are.
Someone made a snow angel outside, and it appeared inside. Fun times.
I have memorialized Hailey and Luke and added their portraits next to the portraits of Anastasia and Matthew. They're being kept in the photography room for right now, but I really like them.
Luke is painting a flirty painting, in his flirty panties, in the snow. Sounds like a wonderful idea if you ask me.
The bugs continue - the front door disappeared and I couldn't put it back because of the snow angel. Fun times.
Matthew has finally completed his Nerd Brain aspiration. I gave him fabulously wealthy for the time being, because he doesn't have a whole lot of time left.
Immediately after trying to potty train Blakely, Hailey pees on the floor. I feel like Blakely is probably thinking something along the lines of "So, you want me to pee in the potty, but you're going to pee on the floor.?"
After a quick shower, Hailey is going into labor with her second child.
It's another girl!
After 80 clicks of the dice, we find out that her name is going to be Heidi!
Look at that face! Blakely is so precious, I really love her.
NOOOO! I'M NOT READY FOR YOU TO LEAVE ANASTASIA!
I really hate it when my legacy founders die. I get so attached to them and then all of a sudden they're just gone.
Within a few short hours, Matthew left to be with his wife. Which would be romantic if it weren't for the fact that I really wanted him to stick around for his instant upgrades.
Only Luke was there to witness Matthew's death because Tonight happens to be Blakely's birthday.
She looks so sad blowing out her candles. She's probably wishing her grandparents were there to help her celebrate.
She's very cute, but still so very sad.
I forgot that I gave this hair to her Aunt when I gave it to her, but oh well. I like it on her.
Since she's got the "mean" trait, I dressed her in red.
Meanwhile, the grim reaper stayed around for a few hours to talk to, play with, and cuddle baby Heidi.
It was really funny to watch because she was crying because of her dirty diaper and he kept telling her to be quiet. But then right before he left he changed her diaper and she went back to sleep.
Here is the family's mausoleum. It's a smaller version of the one from my Hayden legacy, mainly because of finances, but it'll do.
Time for Heidi to become a toddler!
Boy is she cute! I think I prefer her to her sister as of right now.
She still had her sad moodlet from her Grandparents dying unfortunately.
So, when I saw her make this face I started cracking up laughing. I feel like she's looking at me and telling me how unamused she is by the fact that her parents are trying to potty train her.
So, I think I may have mistimed this pregnancy, but alas, Hailey is pregnant again for the last time.
Luke was still not thrilled about this.
For Love Day, the couple enjoyed some skinny dipping while on their date.
Anastasia finally makes her first appearance as a ghost by eating some pasta.
She then play-wrestles with her grandaughter, which I found to be one of the most adorable things.
Due to her wild trait, Heidi soon decides that clothes are not for her and runs around in just a diaper.
And to top off all the excitement of a naked toddler - Hailey goes into labor!
It's twins! A boy and a girl!
For our boy, 73 rolls gives us the name Neal.
For our girl, and our heiress, 17 clicks gives us the name Eve!
Blakely has completed the rambunctious scamp aspiration. Up next I gave her artistic prodigy.
Like I thought, I mistimed the birth of the twins so I will have three toddlers in the house for one sim day.
I thought this hair was fitting for Neal because I figured that a fussy toddler wouldn't let you style their hair.
I am super pleased with Eve and I'm really excited that she's our heiress.
I always forget about this interaction, but it never gets old.
I let our three toddlers (two of whom have dirty diapers) play with toys together rather than trying to micromanage their skilling. I just wanna make sure they all stay alive.
Luckily, as I mentioned before, Heidi's birthday was in just one sim day.
She's still very cute, but I'm not happy with that hair on her.
I gave her her little braid back and now she looks more like her normal self.
I even stuck with the watermelon outfit.
I sent Hailey camping again for her aspiration now that it's summer, and it was really amusing to see the "bear" carrying an umbrella.
Hailey worked on her herbalism for a bit while waiting for all of the plants to spawn, but was finally able to harvest and identify all of the plants.
Unfortunately, she was gone for so long that as soon as we got back home Luke aged up and got the sad moodlet for not having a birthday.
Hailey is now on the super fun part of her aspiration - sleeping in a tent for 6 hours a night.
Guys! Look how cute our heiress is! I love her!
Life isn't going as smoothly for Blakely who passed out when she got home from school.
I didn't know this, but apparently childish sims can still play with toys no matter what age they are. So I've found Lucas playing with toys numerous times.
Blakely has completed her artistic prodigy aspiration, just in time for her birthday!
Also, apparently something happened to make her eyebrows dark and I'm not sure what.
That hair is awful, to the mirror with you,
Post make over, Blakely looks much better. I even fixed her eyebrows.
Of course, I stuck with the red theme we had going on for her.
So, does anyone know if by chance there are some mood saving flowers from flower arranging like in the sims 2? Because I'd love to have some.
Hailey has max flower arranging now too.
It's time for the twins to become children! Which means no more toddlers until Eve has some of her own.
They both age very nicely, though Neal has some weird fashion choices.
I tried to keep his messy look going for the most part, but he's very adorable.
Eve is still gorgeous, and definitely still my favorite of the kids this generation. Unfortunately, now I need to watch what everyone eats since she's a vegetarian.
Her and her brother also love each other very much still, which I thought was adorable.
Hailey has reached the top of the flower arranging branch of the gardening career. So, I have finished one whole career path!
It's Thanksgiving again, and this year they had to have tofurkey because of Eve.
Also, this photo was crazy hard to set up.
That's where we'll leave this chapter. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope to have another chapter out very soon! In the meantime, check in with me over at BoolProp or on my Twitch Stream!
I do begin my teaching career very soon, so the chapters may start being spaced out a little more than usual. However, I'll do my best to get them out as much as possible!
The Kennedy Legacy is the first legacy that I created after purchasing the seasons expansion pack. It is also the first legacy I have kept score in for TS4.
Started: June 27, 2018
Finished: April 27, 2020
The family tree for the main legacy line can be found by clicking here.
Upon the birth of a sim, I will be using a random number generator to generate a number between 1 and 100. I will then click the randomize name button that many times and select the name that it lands on. So, the name of all sims will be totally random.
Note: in the case of a duplicate name, I will click the dice an extra time and use the next unused name.
