Hello everyone and welcome back to the Montgomery legacy!
When we left off last chapter, our founder’s twins had just become toddlers. We pick up this chapter with the oldest of generation two hugging his little sister.
Noelle and Nevaeh are really cute, and I love seeing them do things together and interact together. I had played part of their toddler years before posting the last chapter, so the beginning part of their toddler days were some of my first experiences with toddlers.
Madelyn’s been working hard in the Detective career, and she looks so fancy in her uniform.
I had forgotten that it was Sebastian’s birthday when I sent him to work, and he aged up on his own after work and got the sad moodlet for not having a birthday party. I felt really bad.
(Also, I think it’s strange that just having a cake, even if you’re alone, counts as a birthday party enough to prevent them from getting the sad moodlet.)
Madelyn is a great Mom and does a wonderful job taking care of her son and twin daughters, alongside her husband of course.
Unfortunately, when one of them is off at work, it’s hard to keep an eye on all three kids at once. So, while Madelyn was playing with Noelle, Nevaeh was making a mess with flour and chocolate syrup in the bathroom.
She then danced while watching her Mom clean up her mess, which, I’ll admit, was super adorable.
Madelyn had another day off so she helped Noah with his first school project. Though, she seems less than enthused about having to do this.
Meanwhile, Nevaeh is “playing” in the book case. This action resulted in the above animation where it looks like book pages are being torn out and thrown everywhere.
Once Sebastian is at home, he takes some time to play with the girls at the doll house. Noah supervises, and while it’s not pictured, he eventually joined in on the fun.
While both parents are sleeping, Noah takes advantage of the situation and makes a mess with paint all over the floor.
I had thought the police career was bugged before, but it wasn’t, so after I figured out what I was doing wrong, I was able to fix it and Madelyn has solved her very first case!
That evening when she got home from work, it was time for the twins to become children!
They both aged into really cute children, and I’m sure post-make-over they’ll be even cuter!
Noelle got her father’s eye shape, but still looks super cute! I really like her and I see more of Madelyn in her than in either of the other kids.
Nevaeh also aged nicely, but I think she looks like a female version of her older brother.
Here are their matching outfits in their bedroom that still has toddler beds.
(Don’t worry, I fixed it as soon as I realized.)
I was still trying to decide how to build this penthouse, so for the time being, I decided to decorate the lobby. I really love how it turned out.
This is the sitting area.
And then a view of their elevator.
It seems to be everyone’s favorite part of the house because Noelle exclusively eats her breakfasts out there now.
That is, when she’s not shouting forbidden words at the dining table.
I can’t believe it’s already time for our founder to become an adult! I feel like the YA stage went by really quick for her.
She still looks great though!
These kids and their messes, I can’t even. Every time I make them clean it up, another mess appears. It’s crazy!
It’s time for Noah to become a teenager!
Noah looks so much like his father, it’s crazy! But, he’s very good looking still.
Post make-over, Noah looks extra handsome. I’m very pleased with how he looks, despite the fact that he looks just like his father.
Here’s his outfit! I’m having second thoughts on those shoes though.
The life of a father is hard, and so Sebastian is sleeping in the bathtub.
Meanwhile, Madelyn is working on her singing skill for her City Native aspiration. Her singing isn’t terrible, but it’s not exactly good either.
Nevaeh has finished her artistic prodigy aspiration. Up next, I have decided to give her Whiz Kid
In celebration of having two Whiz Kids, I decided to build this little chess nook on the patio. I got the idea when I was looking at the lot “Uptown Glass” created by Maxis. They have this nook on it and it’s super cute so I copied it for these guys.
Speaking of, here’s their house so far. I think I’m going to end up changing the windows as the house gets bigger, but for now I picked these for extra decoration.
You wouldn’t be able to tell from her face, but Noelle has completed the Whiz Kid aspiration.
I modified their lobby a little as well to fit the floor plan I’m working on building. It’s decorated the same, I just switched the door and sitting area to opposite walls.
I don’t remember what this was from specifically, but Noah got a chance card at school and it rewarded him with this bunny statue as a trophy.
Aw look, they’re all happy and they love each other and I got a family picture!
Sebastian: I’m not. My son smells bad. Madelyn: I’m not either. Actually, you all have happy moodlets, so despite your facial expressions, you’re all happy. Hush. Noah: I’m actually uncomfortable because I need to shower. Oh whatever. I give up.
Madelyn: Hey Haleigh?
Yes? Madelyn: I’m happy now, see?
Madelyn: Hey Haleigh?
Yes? Madelyn: I’m still happy. Sigh. On the bright side, Madelyn did max her singing skill out. Now she just needs to have an apartment with 100k Simoleans and win a contest at GeekCon.
I had Madelyn order a pizza for dinner, something I actually hadn’t done since getting the sims, and the pizza delivery person just came in their apartment and hung out on their computer. That’s a little weird. I don’t think I’d like it if my pizza delivery people came into my apartment.
Madelyn is doing great at work and has solved her third case! Go Madelyn!
Nevaeh is going through the “I’m a bear!” phase and comes home from school wearing an avocado bear costume.
NOAH MONTGOMERY. WHAT. DID. YOU. DO.
Noah: I gave $1000 to charity. WHY. YOUR FAMILY IS BROKE. YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE PAINT ON THE WALLS. Noah: Because free will, that’s why. UGHHHHH.
Since Caleb Hayden had recently gone through this phase, I remembered how to handle it. I promptly had Madelyn dress in a bear costume and talk about the bear costumes with Nevaeh.
I was able to get Nevaeh out of her phase just in time for her teenage birthday!
(Don’t mind the burnt cake, I’m just excited that nobody ate any of it between twins.)
They both aged up nicely, but in not so nice clothes and hair. I also love that Madelyn is photobombing Nevaeh’s selfie with the bear costume
Here we have Noelle, she’s very pretty and I still think she looks the most like her Mom.
Nevaeh is also really cute, but has an interesting personality combination.
With all three children now teenagers, here is the side-by-side comparison of them! We have a nice amount of diversity despite the fact that they all look more like Sebastian than Madelyn.
I like this tattoo with Madelyn’s outfit, I think it’s really fitting for her.
I normally dress my Public Enemy sims in red, but since she’s cheerful, I thought this outfit was more fitting. I did give her a skull necklace though.
