Welcome back to another chapter of my OWBC. I've been having a lot of fun with these guys so far!
I forgot to show proof that I had the new flamingos last chapter, so here we are. The rest are all on the side of the house. until I figure out how I'm going to set them up.
Also, they never get kicked. Do sims even kick them down in TS4?
I sent Blake to work on his thinking skill, and it looks like Brayden decided to follow suit. This made me happy because I am unable to control Brayden.
I decided to leave Carolina home with the kids so I could send Mingo to Selvadorada. The new shop keeper where he met Carolina is also named Carolina.
He does end up meeting someone else there who is not named Carolina though.
Mingo: And can you believe, she still forgot to have me get an umbrella before coming on this trip?
After stocking up, he heads off to explore the ruins.
He finds the treasure fairly easy without issue.
And ends up meeting another temple guardian.
Then, while exploration continues he gets attacked by spiders like 4 times.
He finds some more treasure and practices his spellcasting for a bit before I send him home.
Mingo: Oh my gosh, it's raining here too? If only I had an umbrella.
He was gone long enough that I felt it was a good time for him to conceive another child with Carolina.
And it was successful! Carolina is now pregnant!
Mingo seems a little indifferent at first.
We built a relic and used it on a random in the magic realm since I wanted to be there anyway to buy some dragonfruit to plant.
He also finally ranked up and was able to read the tome he found last chapter.
Here he is planting our indoor dragonfruit since it's winter and the lot is too big for a greenhouse. I might do a basement garden and pretend that we have artificial sun lamps lol.
I wanted to get some girls so I had Carolina eat some strawberries.
Mingo is a really good Dad, and autonomously teaches his kids things more than any of my other sims.
Mingo: Hi there little one, I'm very excited to meet you.
Blake maxed his movement skill.
It's time to meet the baby (or babies) from pregnancy number two!
It's twins again! Meet baby girls Opal and Ophelia. Opal is our little blue baby.
Brayden is not thrilled about having new siblings, but Blake is extremely happy and "reacted" from all the way down in the kitchen.
Despite giving him a bath, Brayden was still dirty when his childhood birthday arrived.
Blake is really cute. I'm not completely sure who he takes after more, but I'm thinking maybe his mother.
Brayden is also adorable, though I think he may lean more toward looking like Mingo.
The boys experience their first trip to the BoolProp Clubhouse, where we get a picture of them to hang on the wall.
Then they play a game of Don't Wake the Lllama with their father.
It's time for our girls to grow into toddlers!
Both girls are spellcasters and both girls aged into the red eyes. I really wish they'd fix spellcasters.
So after flipping a coin, Opal gets her Mother's eye color. I decided to give her the skin detail her father has since I forgot to give it to either of the boys, I hadn't realized it was available in tattoo and skin detail so you could layer them if you wanted.
Ophelia also got her mother's eyes after flipping a coin. I think she's really pretty, but I'm sad that she doesn't have her father's blue skin.
The girls adore their big brother Blake.
I decided to have Carolina go with Mingo on vacation this time, and let the kids spend time at daycare.
While excavating with Mingo, Carolina got electrocuted by lightning bugs.
She was alright though, thankfully, and then she excavated with Mingo.
Mingo's luck wasn't that great and he got poisoned.
Thankfully, they were almost finished exploring the temple when it happened.
They went to the bar to try to find a local to give him the antidote for bone dust, but I didn't see any. Then I remembered Carolina was a local originally, so I had hoped maybe she would be able to give him the antidote, and she was!
They brought home an extra souvenir from their vacation as well.
Of course, Mingo was not very thrilled about this pregnancy.
Ophelia has maxed the movement skill.
And Opal has as well.
Time for the last birth of this generation!
It's twins! Meet baby boy Oliver and baby girl Olivia! Neither of which have the blue skin.
Opal is not thrilled about the newest addition.
Okay, hang in there because we have FIVE birthdays tonight.
First up we have Mingo, who aged into a very handsome mature adult.
Next up are our twin girls, Opal and Ophelia.
Followed by Oliver and Olivia.
*Yes, Oliver is a spellcaster and aged into the red eyes.
After flipping a coin, Oliver got his mother's eyes. He's really adorable though.
Olivia is super cute also, I'm really pleased with the kids this gen.
Opal is even cuter than she was as a todder and has the same personality as her big brother.
Ophelia looks so much like her Mom, and is definitely one of my favorites.
But these twins are super precious!
Oliver: We gotsta stahp now, this too long.
That's where we'll leave this chapter! I will have another chapter out as soon as possible! Feel free to check in with me over at BoolProp or on my Twitch Stream in the meantime, I'd love to chat!
