Welcome back to The Kennedy legacy! I'm trying to crank some of these chapters out because I'm really enjoying playing these guys, and since I will be starting my first year teaching in August, I know I won't get as much play time then.
Colette: Where did our house go?
About that.....you see, I bulldozed the lot thinking you had enough money for the shell of your mansion I built you guys, but you didn't. Sooo, yeah.
Luckily, I had copied an older version of their home previously and was able to save it to the lot for them.
Before they become elders, I wanted to get the photos of Anastasia and Matthew, so I bought the photo thing and got their pictures, then sold it. I really liked this picture of Anastasia.
In order to get Matthew's rocket progress, I purchased him the rocket so he could work on it for his aspiration. Then, once that step of his aspiration was completed I sold it.
As much as I loved watching them all cheer at their TV for the New Year's Eve countdown, I have to say that it was also one of the most irritating things because they made so much noise.
Then, at midnight, fireworks and confetti exploded from their television. That seems totally safe. I'd say unrealistic, but this is the sims and there are a lot of things that are far more unrealistic than some confetti (because seriously, Maxis is obsessed with confetti) and fireworks coming out of the television.
I cannot believe that it is already time for Hailey to become a teenager. I really feel like the first generation of a legacy goes by so much faster simply because you're spending so much time trying to make money that sometimes you forget to do other things, lol.
She's very pretty, but in need of a make-over.
Post make-over and Hailey looks much better. I really love this hair on her.
Here's a look at her whole outfit, because I've been pretty bad at including these shots for you guys.
I immediately sent the family on a vacation so Hailey could begin working on her aspiration.
I sent her to befriend the hermit early on, simply because I knew he had a lot of plants on his lot that would be good for her aspiration later as well as just for the collection.
Unfortunately, while she was able to befriend the hermit, she was not able to really get any plants.
See, when Maxis released seasons they changed plants to have a specific season in which they grow or are harvestable if they're not grown in a greenhouse. Well, since all the unidentified wild plants are obviously not in a greenhouse, because they're wild, I had a big struggle working on her aspiration. I'm going to have to make a spreadsheet to tell me which plants grow in which season so I can get them.
I had quit the game for a bit while they were on vacation, and when I reentered I found Hailey doing her homework. Isn't the point of a vacation to take a break from these responsibilities?
Back at their cabin, Hailey was so invested in eating her salad that she wet herself in the dining area. Super sanitary if you ask me.
Luckily, Hailey was able to work on the fishing portion of her aspiration.
As well as cooking some beetles. Which is still totally gross to me.
While the family was on vacation, Love Day came around so I sent Matthew and Anastasia to the park on their date to enjoy Love Day in some peace and quiet. They were the only ones there and they really seemed to enjoy their date.
I really do love that apartments and other lots like this are default decorated for the holidays.
Back home finally and Colette has finished her social butterfly aspiration. I gave her Rambunctious Scamp as her next aspiration.
Meanwhile, her twin brother Donald has just completed Rambunctious Scamp. I gave him Whiz Kid next.
I bought the bee keeper thing and I was not disappointed - and neither was Anastasia, look how happy she is to be bonding with the bees. Though, she did get stung a bit because in order to bond with the bees you cannot wear a beekeeper outfit.
I have added a second floor to the family's home. It's pretty bare right now though.
Also, we have a new plant. It's called weiners pourris, which is just French for rotten weiners according to google translate. The game won't let my sims throw them away or let me pick it up to delete it, hopefully when I bulldoze the lot later it'll disappear.
Colette has completed her rambunctious scamp aspiration! I didn't bother giving her another aspiration because it's her birthday!
Donald and Colette both grew into very good looking teens, with very questionable fashion choices.
Donald seems to favor his mother the most out of the three children, and has the easiest of the aspirations from the generation.
Colette seems to have the same facial structure as her older sister, but with red hair.
Even though Colette and Hailey have the same face, with the different hair and make-up they do look different. They're both very pretty though. I'm very pleased with this generation.
Since the family lives right near a fishing spot, I had Colette go ahead and get to work on her aspiration so that she could bring in a little extra money for the family.
Anastasia maxed out the logic skill finally, which means she should hopefully be getting a promotion at work soon.
I was right, the very next day she got promoted to the top of the gardener career track.
I can't even caption this picture because it's just too great. So I'll let you guys use your imagination on what they're thinking, because in this particular instance, I think that's best.
Since I couldn't work on Hailey's aspiration much, the family has spent a lot of time just trying to make money for their mansion shell. So, time flew by and it's already time for Hailey to become a Young Adult.
She's still extremely pretty, and I'm sure her kids will be gorgeous too.
She adds clumsy to her list of traits, which I think might be my first legacy sim with that trait.
I decided to let her take the florist branch of the gardener path because I felt it would be a good fit for her based on her aspiration and art lover trait.
This is Luke, he's a legacy love I downloaded and I'm really excited to see how things turn out with him and Hailey.
They're really adorable together though, I mean just look how excited she is to becoming his girlfriend!
It's Thanksgiving again, which means more gnome appeasing with seed packets left all over the house.
I apparently didn't take many picture of their Thanksgiving, but Luke is now moving in.
Oh no, the Party Animal aspiration. I've heard terrible things about this reading my favorite legacy by Roxanne/Taube. (Which, you should check out because it's amazing: thegregorylegacy.blogspot.com)
Other than the dreaded aspiration, Luke actually isn't a terrible sim. I decided to keep his man bun and the tattoos he had because I felt it fit his aspiration.
He proposed to Hailey on the beach, who turned him down. Which was really sad in my opinion because I had it positioned really nicely and the waves are so pretty in the background.
However, on the brightside, the family can now afford their mansion shell! It's very bare on the inside though, but I saved each individual room as it was decorated before I knew I would have to give up their one million so I'll be adding them in one at a time.
The super amazing Roxanne/Taube helped me with my landscaping because I'm terrible at it.
In a less elegant way than before, Luke proposes to Hailey again, and luckily this time she accepts his proposal.
They were immediately married right there before I realized I should have done a wedding event for the points and his aspiration. Oops.
More confetti means Hailey is now pregnant with generation 3!
Also, am I the only one who thinks that it looks like the confetti from their wedding is coming down to this picture? Yes? Okay, moving on.
Luke was not thrilled about the prospect of becoming a father, but I mean, he should be because they have the nicest room in the house right now.
I can't believe our legacy founder is already an elder! Where has the time gone!
She's still as stunning as ever though. I really think I did a good job creating her.
Of course, since it's Anastasia's birthday, that means it's also Matthew's birthday since they did get their birthdays aligned because of her pregnancies.
He aged really nicely as well. I'm going to miss these two.
So, all of the family plants are currently in the house because I haven't felt like spending their money for the greenhouse yet and they need the money from them and it's snowing.
Generation three is officially on the way!
It's a girl!
After 95 clicks on the die, her name is Blakely!
Guys! The house with snow and Christmas decorations is so pretty and I can't handle it.
This almost makes me want to move out of Florida.
It's already time for Blakely to become a toddler, and I'm excited about it because it's Christmas.
She is so stinking cute! I love her!
This Christmas, it's a major event because in addition to Blakely's birthday it's also Colette and Donald's birthday.
Of course, as soon as they became adults I realized I did not check where their character value traits were and so I was not able to make sure that one of them could have three positive traits. So, Anastasia will not be completing her aspiration.
Donald adds creative to his list of traits, and honestly still looks like a teenager.
Colette becomes a slob, and in that moment I am eternally grateful that she is not our heiress.
I decided to let them stay so the family could celebrate Christmas together before moving the twins out. But, once the Christmas festivities were over, I moved both Donald and Colette out of the house.

The Kennedy Legacy is the first legacy that I created after purchasing the seasons expansion pack. It is also the first legacy I have kept score in for TS4.

Upon the birth of a sim, I will be using a random number generator to generate a number between 1 and 100. I will then click the randomize name button that many times and select the name that it lands on. So, the name of all sims will be totally random.
Note: in the case of a duplicate name, I will click the dice an extra time and use the next unused name.
