Hello everyone and welcome back to The Montgomery Legacy!
I appreciate everyone's patience in updating some of my stories, Photobucket recently disallowed the embedding of photos hosted on their website, so I've had to transfer everything over here to Weebly. I'm loving it so far, but it's been a very tedious process. I have 44 more chapters of things to transfer and then I'll be done. But, in the mean time I've been focusing on my main stories like the Montgomery legacy and the Hayden legacy. I also apologize in the delay of getting this out, I've had the pictures ready for over two months, but I've had a lot of things going on in my personal life and I started school again, so things have been extremely crazy for me lately.
Despite the fact that Noelle was my favorite, Nevaeh won the heir poll and will be continuing on this legacy. I'm sure it won't be too bad, because she is pretty and does have a very interesting personality so we'll see where things go. For now though, Nevaeh and her siblings are all still teenagers and so we have some time before I have to worry about her carrying the legacy on.
I feel like it took forever, but Sebastian has finally completed his Best Selling Author aspiration. I decided to give him Mansion Baron because maybe it will give me incentive to decorate this house faster. We shall see I suppose. Right now the majority of the house is empty.
I sent Nevaeh to one of the parks to work on her aspiration a little since she needed to perform 10 mean or mischievous interactions.
She also needed to be disliked by two sims so one of the teenagers on the lot got to be her lovely victim for a fight.
Unfortunately, Nevaeh got her butt kicked and wasn't feeling too great after so I sent her home. However, she only needs one more sim to dislike her for the first tier of her aspiration, so that's not bad at all.
Meanwhile, Noelle has decided to use the family's very little money to eat at one of the food stalls near their apartment. Then, she immediately becomes embarrassed because of how terrible she is at using chopsticks.
When I check back on the home lot, I see that Sebastian is about to be abducted by aliens. Normally, I wouldn't be thrilled about the chance of alien pregnancy, but since the twins have so much time left in their teen years, an alien baby would be welcomed.
Sebastian comes home dazed.
A day passes with no signs of a pregnancy, so that's pretty disappointing. Only one of my sims has ever gotten pregnant from alien abduction, and he was an elder.
The family has a pretty little garden on their balcony.
I don't remember exactly where I got these from but someone extracted the planters that I believe are part of the romance festival and made it so that they can be used. I love them, they're really cool I think!
Today is Noah's young adult birthday! I feel like time has really flown by since he was born.
Now that he's a young adult, I can actually see some of Madelyn in him, albeit not very much, and he's actually really handsome. I would've rather some of the kids get Madelyn's eye shape, but oh well.
Noah adds romantic to his list of traits giving him two of his father's traits.
Despite the fact that having Noah around for a bit would've been beneficial to the building of this house, I decided to go ahead and move him out to keep things from getting to easy too quickly. Plus, I didn't really want to worry about having to keep an extra sim alive right now.
At first glance, it would appear that Madelyn is excited that she caught the bad guy, but in reality, it's that she just has to pee really bad.
Back at home, it's Sebastian's birthday and this time I actually remembered to bake him a cake.
He makes a lovely elder, I have to say. But, he looks quite a bit different than he did as an adult.
Upon arriving at one of her crime scenes, we find one of the police officers sleeping on the couch at a crime scene! This is totally unacceptable, and I personally wish I could fire her. Plus, her make-up is terrible.
The family's home is coming along very nicely, and I'm very pleased with it so far. I finally finished the shell, but it's still quite empty on the inside. But, in time that will change I'm sure.
I also found a loop hole to the part of Mansion Baron that wants 15 pieces of art - you can buy these wall holes for nothing and put them on the walls and it counts. It almost feels like cheating, but the game recognizes it so it's really not.
As you can see, the family has a newly decorated dining room. I spent forever decorating it because I was initially trying to stick with the red theme they had going in here before, but ultimately decided to go with blue.
Because of her high singing skill, Madelyn won a karaoke contest at the local karaoke bar.
If you saw the number of times that my sims actually wet themselves, you'd think I was a terrible simmer. However, I want to point out that this is totally not my fault because she is standing right in front of the toilet, so she was perfectly capable of sitting down instead of peeing on the floor.
A brand new kitchen means that the plumbing and appliances need upgraded again, but that's okay because I really love the backsplash in their kitchen. It's super pretty.
To celebrate their new kitchen, Sebastian steals the food that Madelyn had just made herself.
The next person that Madelyn arrests is this old man at a museum. He looks so dejected about being arrested. Doesn't he? I felt bad for him.
Tonight it's time for our twins, Noelle and Nevaeh to become young adults! Which means that I can focus on bringing in generation three.
Both girls aged into beautiful young adults, but don't look that much different than from when they were teenagers.
Our lovely founder, Madelyn, is also celebrating her birthday the same evening!
Madelyn ages into a bad ass looking elder. She's still got it!
If you read the last chapter, or participated in the heir poll, you already knew what trait Noelle was going to get as a young adult. However, she officially has geek now, and honestly, I think she has a great personality. I was really hoping she would have been our heiress, but heir polls are what keep things interesting.
Nevaeh has picked up her self-assured trait and officially has a very interesting combination of traits. I definitely think she'll be an interesting heiress to play, and I'm looking forward to see what her children look like.
I decided that a crop-top wasn't the best outfit of choice for Madelyn, so I gave her a quick makeover that was more fitting for "bad-ass legacy founder / future grandmother."
Noelle: Well sis, now that I'm a young adult, I'm going to move out and find a husband to settle down with. Be sure to invite me over from time to time.
Nevaeh: I will. I'm sure gonna miss you, it's going to be weird not having you here, we've been together since the womb. I love you. Noelle: I love you too sis.
I don't remember how these two met, but I think I just sent her downstairs to collect posters and snow globes and happened to see him. But, this is Cason Barlow. He's very cute, and I think they're going to make adorable children. I mainly picked him because of his red hair, I didn't even take the time to look at his personality, though I learned he was romantic through some of Nevaeh's interactions with him.
They were clearly a good match because it did not take long before the couple shared their very first kiss together. Immediately after their first kiss, Nevaeh asked him to move in and he accepted.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is why you check personalities to an extent before moving a potential legacy spouse in. Not to mention, he's not actually as cute as I thought he was.
Oh well, two of three traits aren't terrible so with any luck maybe the kids won't get hates children.
Here's a better look at Cason's outfit.
I realized when inspecting the different things about him that part of the reason he didn't seem as cute, is because he's not a young adult, he's actually an adult already. So, he's much older than Nevaeh.
In fact, he's 9 days away from becoming an elder. So, we had to fix that with a youth potion.
Post-youth potion, he immediately heads upstairs into the future playroom and destroys the doll house.
So it begins.
One of the good things about Cason is that he came into the family with a high level job. In fact, he was level 9 of the music career! The only downside is that he doesn't have any of the required skills needed for the promotion to level 10, so we better get started on that right away!
Nevaeh: Cason, I love you with all of my heart. This should be obvious, because of I didn't, as a dastardly public enemy, I'd just shove you over that very low ledge on our roof. Will you marry me?
Cason: Oh Nevaeh, that's the most romantic thing you've ever said to me, of course I'll marry you! Right. "Romantic."
The couple shared their vows on the roof of the family home where they both wore blue, even though they didn't completely match each other.
During the middle of the ceremony, Cason got sick and thus made the rest of the wedding photos not as pretty. Thanks a lot, Cason.
The two still celebrated like any newly married couple, despite Cason's illness, and Nevaeh is now pregnant with the first baby of generation three!
Being a sim that hates children, Cason was less than thrilled about the news and began crying as soon as his wife informed him of the pregnancy.
Poor Nevaeh looks so hurt by the fact that Cason isn't as happy as she was.
Unfortunately, the time has come for Sebastian to die. This saddens me because it means he won't get to meet his first grandbaby.
He died alone, unfortunately, as his wife was outside tending to the garden and somehow didn't see what was happening through the window.
His daughter and son-in-law were both "sleeping" in the room next door, and so they also were not there for him when he died.
Nevaeh spent most of her pregnancy on the computer or sleeping. Not very exciting, I know.
I finally remembered to have Madelyn take a sick-day from work when GeekCon rolled around, and so she FINALLY completed the City Native aspiration. Her next aspiration is Big Happy Family.
One evening, Nevaeh came home from work in labor with her first child.
After laboring for a little while, she headed upstairs to the new nursery and was ready to give birth.
Remember, this baby's name has to begin with an H since the last letter of Nevaeh's name is h.
It's a girl! Meet baby girl Hayley Montgomery!
Madelyn loved being a grandmother and spent pretty much every spare moment in Hayley's nursery cuddling her and tending to her needs.
Hayley's infant days flew by and soon it was time for her to become a toddler.
Of course, Grandma Madelyn was the one that was there to help celebrate her birthday.
Hayley got her father's red hair just like I hoped she would, so that's really exciting!
I see a lot of both Nevaeh and Cason in Hayley, but I think she got her Dad's eye shape. She's a very adorable little girl, even if she has a terrible toddler trait. I'm excited to see how she grows up.
I went a little over board with the purple, but I just couldn't help myself she looked so cute in it.
Even her room is purple!
Time to spend most of her toddler days in front of an iPad because in The Sims 4 it's actually a great parenting/learning tool.
At work, Madelyn finally solves a case she's been working on for a long time. The suspect looks very terrified during the interrogation.
Solving the case leads to Madelyn's promotion to Chief, and the complete of the detective career path.
Hayley is seriously so cute, and I had no idea you could put the high chair at the table like this! This is super cool!
Nevaeh works on her Public Enemy aspiration some more by fighting random townies in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, on her way to take a shower, Madelyn's time comes and she's passing away. I'm really sad to see our founder go, I really liked her.
Nevaeh was there to witness the death of her mother, and she's so in shock over the loss of her mother than she goes cross eyed!
*This may have completed the "Witness the death of a sim" part of her aspiration, but I'm not certain. I won't know until I load the game up, but just in case it did I wanted to let you know.
Cason is not the best parent, he literally stood here and watched Hayley fuss about her messy high chair and exhaustion.
Then, when he tried to play with her, he held her upside down and was basically shaking her. Look at her face, she's absolutely terrified!
With Cason's parenting skills being so phenomenal, I guess there's no better time to get pregnant again and so Nevaeh is pregnant with baby two of the third generation!
